Istanbul Airport was opened on
October 29, 2018. Ataturk Airport will be closed for scheduled flights on April

2. When is the final
date for scheduled passenger flights at Ataturk Airport?
With all flights starting from Istanbul Airport, there will
be no more scheduled passenger flights from Ataturk Airport. Ataturk Airport
plans to shut down for commercial passenger flights from 6 April 2019, 02:00.
3. Are the
International and Domestic Passenger terminals apart? How far will the distance
be between the terminals?
Istanbul Airport does not have
separate terminals for domestic and international flights. All passengers will
